Extracurricular with Soccer Shots:
Soccer Shots Mini is a high-energy program introducing children to fundamental soccer principles, such as using your feet, dribbling and the basic rules of the game. Through fun games, songs, and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active. 2 to 3 Year.
Soccer Shots Classic utilizes creative and imaginative games to focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing and shooting. We also highlight a positive character trait each session such as respect, teamwork and appreciation. 3 to 5 Year Olds (Pre-K).
Weekly activities:
Fun Days: Allow your child to be creative and show off on fun days. Please remember to bring regular shoes for our outside recess time.
Sharing: Sharing is a skill that takes years to develop (and let’s face it, some people never grasp the concept at all). Sharing helps children to develop appropriate social skills and in our setting is used as a language development tool. We encourage you to allow your child to bring an item to share on Fridays.
On Water Play Days (summer only): The children will run through the sprinklers, play London bridges, use water and sand sensory tables, and enjoy many other types of water play. Please have your child wear a swimsuit and bring a towel to water play days throughout summer.
Special Days:
New Year’s Eve Party: Ring in the New Year’s with us preschool style with a balloon drop and noisemakers at 12:00 p.m. We will also play games.
Valentine’s Day Party: Celebrate the day of love. The children will hand out Valentine’s cards and play games. This is the day when they express their appreciation and love to their loved ones.
St. Patrick’s Day Party: Come and help us try to catch the leprechaun. The children will build leprechaun traps with their families and bring them to school so that we can try to catch the leprechaun. We will also play games for the kids. Remember to wear green!
Easter Egg Hunt & Party: Come and hunt for Easter eggs and play games with us.
Cinco de Mayo Party: Come and help the children break open the piñata and play games with a Mexican flair.
Glorious Gorilla Graduation & Year-End Celebration: Help us celebrate the success of our amazing students. The graduation ceremony includes all class students from the Busy Bees– including those who will be returning for another year with us due to the mandatory age requirement.
Goodbye Summer Dance: Say goodbye to our friends who have graduated and are going to elementary school and help us to end summer right with a fun dance party!
Halloween Party: The children and teachers will show off their costumes, have a safety talk, trick or treat within the school, and play games.
Polar Express Day: Jump aboard the Polar Express Train with us! Help us celebrate the warmth of the season for a day wearing comfy cozy pajamas and the Polar Express movie. Blankets and pillows are recommended!
Children’s Christmas Party: Celebrate the wonders of the holidays with us. We will play games and provide fun opportunities for your child and enjoy the party with the rest of the kids in our school.
