Our daily activity calendar is designed to help your child learn and retain concepts. The calendar is a learning tool.

Mondays: Wacky Day - Each child should dress according to the stated day. Wacky hair, wacky hat, and pajama day.

Tuesdays: Letter Day - Each child brings in an item from home that corresponds with the letter of the week. The children give clues and everyone tries to guess what the item is.

Wednesdays: Pizza Day - On pizza day your child may purchase pizza, ranch and a drink for $3.00. If you prefer you can provide your child a sack lunch.

Thursdays: Color Day - On color day have your child wear an item that is the color of the week. Items can be clothing, jewelry, hats, etc.

Fridays: Share Day - Share day is the only day that your child can bring a toy or an item to share. Each child is given an opportunity to stand up and tell the other children about their item.

Water Play Days: (summer only): Have your child wear a swim suit and bring a towel every Monday and Thursday for water play days throughout summer. We will run through the sprinklers, play London bridges and enjoy many other types of water play.

Parent's Night Out: Each month we offer a Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. , for our parents to enjoy a night out while their child remains at the school with teachers they know and love. The cost for each child is $20.00.

Spring & Fall Pictures: Twice a year a professional photographer comes to the school and takes pictures of the children. They also do our kindergarten graduation photos! (cap & gown)

New Years Party: The children and the teachers ring in the new year at high noon with balloons and sparkling apple cider.

Valentines Day Party: Come and celebrate the day of love with us. The children will pass out their valentines cards, play games and enjoy treats.

St. Patrick's Day Party: Come and help us try to catch the leprechaun. The children will set a trap to try and catch the leprechaun, play games and enjoy treats.

Easter Egg Hunt Party: Come and help us hunt for Easter eggs, play games and enjoy a treat or two.

Kindergarten Enrichment Registration: an informative meeting on our Private Kindergarten Enrichment program and registration. A brief presentation will be made by the kindergarten teacher, followed by a question and answer session and the distribution of registration forms.

Cinco De Mayo Party: Come and help the children break open the pinata, play games with a Mexican flair and enjoy Mexican cuisine. Yum!

Morning Muffins & Mother's Day Luncheon: Mom's enjoy a muffin at drop-off and if your schedule permits plan to join us for a Mother's Day Lunch with your child in celebration of Mother's Day.

Kindergarten Graduation Celebration & Luncheon: Come one and all! Our annual graduation celebration will be memorable and fun. Following the presentation lunch will be provided for all of the participants and their guests.

Donuts for Dads & Father's Day Luncheon: Dad's enjoy a donut at drop-off and if your schedule permits plan to join us for a Father's Day Lunch with your child in celebration of Father's Day.

Open House: Meet your child's teachers, friends and other families that attend. Enjoy a beverage and a treat.

Halloween Party: The children and teachers will show off their costumes, have a safety talk, trick or treat within the school, play games and enjoy a treat.

Progress Reports/Parent Teacher Conferences: We will send home progress reports/report cards for all of our students. They will include the following; teacher observation, Ages and Stages Questionnaire results, developmental milestones and an action plan to assist each child in meeting their personal goals. Reports will be sent out three times a year. (November, February, June) If a parent teacher conference is needed they will be available by appointment.

Family Feast: Please join us for an evening of families, food and fun. We will have a potluck Thanksgiving dinner at the school to celebrate all that we are thankful for.

Children's Christmas Program: Mark your calendars well in advance for a very special evening. The children will amaze you with the unforgettable talents. A special visitor will join us following the children's performance and then we will all enjoy holiday treats.

Children's Christmas Party: Celebrate the wonders of the holidays with us. We will play games and enjoy delicious holiday snacks.

Observed Holidays B(7) Holidays: The preschool observes and will be closed on the following holidays:

    Memorial Day
    Independence Day
    Labor Day
    Nevada Day
    Veterans Day
    Thanksgiving Day
    Family Day
    Christmas Day
Additionally, we will close at 3:00 p.m. on:
    Christmas Eve
    New Years Eve
In the event the holiday falls on a weekend, we follow the same schedule as local schools and/or banks (i.e. the Friday before or the Monday after).
No credit shall be given for the days the preschool is officially closed. Vacation may not be used for observed holidays.
