Sierra Summit accepts children from Newborn-Kindergarten.

Each class enjoys a happy and relaxed environment where the children can develop at their own pace. Our program offers a variety of schedules and experiences.

The teachers follow a monthly curriculum designed specifically with the needs of each child in mind.

The Darling Ducks: This class is composed of children between the ages of newborn to 23 months. The children's curriculum is designed using a developmental assessment tool (ASQ). Their fun filled daily schedule includes the following activities: * Arrival *Wash and Snack Times *Morning Gathering *Music & Movement *Outside Playtime *Story Time *Art *Free play *Diapering Times *Lunch *Resting *Clean-up Times *Departure

The Kind Koalas: This class is composed of children between the ages of 24 months and 54 months. The children's curriculum is developed using a combination of tools including the following; developmental assessment tool (ASQ), teacher observations, information discussed at parent & teacher conferences, a creative theme based curriculum and the Nevada Pre-Kindergarten Standards. Their fun filled and educational daily schedule includes the following activities: * Arrival Time *Limited Learning Centers *Clean-up Times * Table Activities *Outside Playtime and Teacher Initiated Activities *Wash & Snack Times *Preschool Activity (based on Nevada Pre-Kindergarten Standards) and includes a Phonics Lesson* Morning Gathering (Song Rhyme or Finger play, Story, Discussion on Theme, Letter, Shape Number and Color of the Week Lesson and Calendar Lesson *Music & Movement *Art *Small Group Activity *Open Learning Centers *Wash & Lunch *Rest Time *Wake-up Time * Departure

The Busy Bees: This is our Private Full-Day Kindergarten Enrichment Class.
